A real-estate platform owned by a publicly listed company, serving more than a million people a month across Canada and the US. I was a core engineer across web, mobile and backend.

Challenge

One platform had to serve several brands, residential and commercial, in Canada and the US, with French localization, while staying fast enough to rank on high-traffic search pages.

Approach

I built a multi-tenant Next.js architecture that powers six brand sites from one codebase, and owned the React Native app end to end on iOS and Android: authentication, push notifications, deep linking, maps and store releases.

I led the 2026 redesign of property search and the map, mobile-first with saved searches, and built market-insight features from Go and Elasticsearch APIs through to the data-driven UI. I also designed authentication across web and mobile, including the Cognito migration, SSO, OTP login and role-based access.

Result

Sitemaps, crawl optimization and Core Web Vitals work on high-traffic pages, 10+ A/B experiments on GrowthBook, MLS compliance and CRM integrations for lead management, with Playwright and Cypress coverage keeping releases safe.
